What information we collect
We collect the information you provide yourself when you create an account, update your profile or register for a tournament:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Country
- Club and town
- EMA number (European player ID) and membership number
- Per tournament: meal choices, allergies or special diet, comment, team and results
Why we collect it
The information is used only to run this website and our tournaments. We never sell or share your information for marketing.
Cookies
We use only one necessary session cookie that keeps you logged in while you use the site. We do not use any tracking or advertising cookies.
Tournaments ranked by EMA
For tournaments ranked by the European Mahjong Association we send your name, your EMA ID and your results during the tournament to EMA (mahjong-europe.org) so that the result can be counted towards the ranking.
How long we keep the information
We keep the information for as long as the society needs it, and delete it when it is no longer needed, when you ask us to, or at the latest 2 years after your most recent contact with us.
Meal choices and allergies are deleted automatically as soon as the tournament has finished.
Competition results are kept permanently in our public statistics, as they are part of the society's competition history.
