Varberg Mahjong Society welcomes you to Varberg International Mahjong Open 2026!
Social & Accommodation
Saturday afternoon there will be an optional dinner. More information will follow. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance of the venue.
Tournament Details
The tournament is held in Varbergs Folkets Hus, Magasinsgatan 17 in Varberg, Sweden.
Number of participants: Max 80 players. . So far 40 players from 5 countries have registered.
In case the maximum number of registrations is reached, a waiting list will be kept.
Deadline: 1st of August 2026, after which we only accept registrations in groups of four.
The tournament is played in 7 sessions in 115 minutes per game.

Rules: Mahjong Competition Rules (MCR) with EMA-MERS-regulations
Prizes: Top 3 players and top 3 teams
